Guest speaker for the September 17, 2025 General Membership Meeting was Joan Pope, EMG from Central Rappahannock Unit. Joan worked at the US Army Corps of Engineers for many years as a coastal scientist.  She presented an introduction to the US Army Corps of Engineers and its mission, as well as information about the Master Gardeners Association of Central Rappahannock Area, and the water steward program and coordination with NNMG SEP.  Joan  joined the NNMG volunteers (pictured below) to complete a project requirement for their Advanced Water Steward certificate.
